What You'll Do

We are currently seeking an Operations Analyst who will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of material master data through multiple platforms that feed downstream to customer and consumer facing tools. This role is a combination of strategic and practical data governance driving data standards, quality, and consistency. The Analyst will continuously improve master data processes, document and train users, and act as the business contact for material master related topics and issues by using data analysis to create decision support tools for the management team across all functional areas.

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate and engage with the Amer Sports Global Master Data team to facilitate cascading data governance standards and polices on behalf of Wilson
  • Create and maintain material master data records in accordance with data standards using both systematic product data update tools and manually in SAP
  • Understand how master data is used across business processes to ensure it is accurate, complete, and transaction ready
  • Build methods for measuring, monitoring, and improving data quality
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business and IT resources to improve data management processes
  • Provide input to the development of product data management tools and data collection templates
  • Create documentation and provide training and support to business teams
  • Lead data analysis efforts to evaluate operational efficiency and improve operational and financial results
  • Lead master data projects related to data cleansing, new tool implementations, or new business introductions or acquisitions
  • Utilize an understanding of operational processes across the organization to support and facilitate an environment of continuous process improvement


What We're Looking For

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management of Information Systems or related field plus 1+ year of previous data management experience. In lieu of a degree, candidates with 5+ years of relevant work experience in a data management role will be considered.

  • Acute attention to detail, organization, and adherence to standards

  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
