Operation Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual for the role of Operations Security Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the security and trustworthiness of our organization's operations. You will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential security risks, investigating suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential security breaches, fraudulent activities, and violations of organizational policies and procedures.
- Analyze and assess risks associated with operational processes, systems, and activities, and propose appropriate countermeasures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective security protocols and preventive measures.
- Monitor and analyze security logs, reports, and data to identify patterns, anomalies, or potential threats.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry practices, emerging security threats, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies or industry partners, as necessary during investigations.
- Prepare detailed investigative reports and provide recommendations for remedial actions or process improvements.
What You'll Bring:
- At least two years’ experience conducting investigations related to trust and safety, operations security, or similar domains.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, assessing risk, and investigative techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, interpret data, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Proficiency in using various security tools, software, and systems for monitoring, analysis, and incident response.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse partners and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong ethical and professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout the investigative process.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in a technology-driven organization or online platform.
