Onboarding Program Manager

The Onboarding Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all onboarding activities across our organization.
The Onboarding Program Manager is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
This position requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to support our goal of integrating new team members effectively and efficiently.
The Onboarding Program Manager must demonstrate the ability to operate strategically, operationally, and tactically to align our onboarding processes with the company's objectives, core values and drive continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values.
- Oversee all aspects of the onboarding process, from pre-boarding to post-boarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
- Collaborate with HR, department managers, and leaders to design and deliver effective onboarding programs and materials.
- Conduct orientation sessions and training programs to introduce new employees to company policies, procedures, and culture.
- Maintain and update onboarding materials, ensuring they are current and relevant with company changes and industry trends.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programs, gathering feedback from new hires and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage onboarding schedules and logistics, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and efficient processes.
- Act as the main point of contact for new hires during their initial period with the company, providing support and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Track onboarding metrics and report on key performance indicators KPIs to leaders.
- Stay current with industry best practices and incorporate innovative ideas into the onboarding process.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.

- This position may directly supervise personnel in the Human Resources department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Relevant experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience in onboarding, human resources, or a related area, with a minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in tracking onboarding metrics and reporting on KPIs.
- Current knowledge of industry best practices and trends in onboarding.
- Proven expertise in organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating across all organizational levels both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in HR software and onboarding tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
