Office and Community Manager

The VTEX Hub Community Lead is in charge of handling the day-to-day operations of the NYC VTEX Hub.


Our VTEX Hubs are the go-to place for hosting events for the digital commerce community: customers, partners, prospects, investors, and VTEX employees. It is a hybrid space that has two main goals: providing the employees with a fantastic working experience and hosting high-quality events for different stakeholders within the digital commerce community.


As a VTEX Hub Community Lead, you will ensure that all the needs to maintain the space running are up to date and host and lead all events and meet-ups in the house, providing the best experience for stakeholders. The incumbent must troubleshoot and handle the VTEX Hub visitant’s daily needs.


The VTEX Hub Community Lead is responsible for identifying improvements and performing actions that ensure a functional and vibrant work environment. This specific VTEX headquarters plays a pivotal role in the company’s future, being the go-to place for important meetings in the US region.

In this role you will:

  • Be the key contributor to the VTEX Hub’s guest experience. 
  • Plan and supervise events and meet-ups based on users’ needs and requests.
  • Develop relationships with VTEX Hub visitors and proactively gather information on their needs to identify services that could help them have a more fantastic experience in the office.
  • Be the reference voice of the VTEX Hub policies and the code of ethics guardian. 
  • Prepare a cadence of reports on the hospitality, gathering information from the NYC VTEX Hub visitors.
  • Monitor and manage the VTEX Hub budget.
  • Conduct quality control walkthroughs to address and prevent issues and identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders, managing suppliers, infrastructure, improvements, processes, onboarding, and other activities to ensure the operation runs smoothly.
  • Manage the purchasing flow of office supplies, equipment, food, etc., from the negotiation until the inventory management.
  • Support the US employee’s onboarding (remote and on-site) by ensuring VTEX swags and equipment are delivered promptly.
