National Service Leader

TRC is seeking a National Service Leader focused on delivering the regulatory, conformance and technical knowledge and experience for EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services.


This Senior leadership position will guide the strategic growth, technical development, work practices/standards/tools, marketing materials, key client account expansion, general client program development activities and performance of the national team that delivers EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services.


We are seeking a recognized leader that has built and continues to improve upon a competitive offering for the delivery of EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services across TRC’s National Platform. This individual will work across all applicable Practices to deliver EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services.


This individual may work remotely or report to a nearby TRC office.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Focused on TRC’s Environmental Sector growth and delivery of EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services nationwide.
  • Acts as the technical/regulatory leader for the EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services (e.g., may rely on SMEs, but needs to be very knowledge and capable of leading this specific EHS Service).
  • Develops, implements, and maintains a strategy and execution plan for delivering EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services to our key client/ targeted new client growth account program.
  • Establishes, maintains, and improves upon our branding, marketing, and sales materials for the delivery of EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services.
  • Supports and approves our Communications and Marketing Team’s activities regarding digital media campaigns and website capabilities and project descriptions for EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services.
  • Establishes, maintains, and improves work standards, practices, and tools for the efficient delivery, thoroughness, and quality of EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services.
  • Mentors and coaches Services Team Leaders (STLs) for growth and delivery of EHS Auditing and EHS Management System Services as part of a national delivery platform. Accountable for assisting each SLT to achieve their KPIs.


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Health & Safety or Environmental Science or related fields.
  • 15+ years of experience performing and managing projects focused on the EHS services outlined above.
  • Demonstrated previous success with leadership/management of similar national EHS programs.
  • Experience managing cross disciplinary scientific and engineering teams.
  • Proven track record with successful marketing, business development, business management and oversight of national businesses.
  • Strong business acumen and attributes, coupled with a commitment to TRC Values: Safety, Quality, Integrity, Creativity, Accountability, Teamwork and Passion.
  • Location is flexible.
  • This position requires regulatory, conformance and technical knowledge and experience for the following applicable programs and standards:
  • EHS Auditing Services
  • EHS Auditing Program Design and Implementation Services (documentation, tools, checklists/ protocols, reporting, training, etc.)
  • EHS Auditing Services
  • All applicable and focused regulatory requirements (Air, Water, Waste, Safety, etc.)
  • All applicable conformance standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.)
  • Risk-based evaluations
  • Risk Management Planning (40 CFR 68) and Process Safety Management (29 CFR 1910.119) compliance auditing requirements
  • Remote, in-person and hybrid assessments
  • EHS Management System Services
  • Scoping, gap analysis, design, development, implementation and/or monitoring of management systems/ compliance programs related to:
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
  • ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
  • EPA’s Compliance-Focused Environmental Management System
  • OSHA’s Safety and Health Management System
  • Process Safety Management Program (29 CFR 1910.119)
  • Risk Management Planning – Prevention Program (40 CFR 68)
  • This position reports to the Vice President and National Director of EHS Services.
