We’re looking for a talented and nimble Motion Designer to join our Marketing team. You’re someone who exhibits good taste, is comfortable working through creative iterations in a speedy fashion, and is eager to jump in on a variety of video and animation projects, ranging from launch videos, UGC ads, in-app visuals, social content, and more. 

Our ideal candidate has a strong mix of 2D and 3D motion design skills — with a knack for pacing, sound design, and visual design — and is comfortable leading any stage of the creative process, from idea and storyboarding, to sourcing footage and images, to design and animation. 

Key Responsibilities:

This is a highly cross-functional role, working with members of the Marketing, Engineering, and Design teams.

This includes:

  • Creative Collaboration: Working closely with members of the Marketing team to conceptualize and execute a variety of video assets. These could range from launch videos to UGC ads to YouTube tutorials. From storyboarding to final production, you'll translate complex ideas and user workflows into creative narratives that are accessible, and deliver high-quality motion graphics that align with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with the engineering and product design teams to develop in-app visuals and assets that enhance the user experience. You'll play a crucial role in elevating our product offerings, whether it’s crafting UI animations or designing interactive graphics.

Preferred requirements:

  • 3-7 years of professional experience as a motion designer or motion graphics artist, with significant experience in marketing-related design.
  • Comfort with 2D and 3D motion design. This includes proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro, and knowledge of 3D software like Cinema4D, Blender, or Unreal Engine. Familiarity with tools like Figma is helpful.
  • A detail-oriented nature, with great organization skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at a time. This includes the ability to iterate quickly under tight timelines, and being comfortable with showing options and alternatives where helpful.
  • A knack for visual storytelling, with the ability to translate rough ideas to clear and concise finished videos.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to get projects shipped with team buy-in.
