Marketing Strategy Manager

As a valued leader on our team, you will manage a team who is responsible for planning and implementing all aspects of marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives. The Marketing and Communications - Marketing Strategy - Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of B2B and B2C marketing programs and on-site event strategies for Fannie Mae’s Single Family business unit.
  • Manage daily activities of a cross-functional team and serve as primary contact to develop and execute high-level positioning, marketing and event strategies.
  • Negotiate and develop strategic partnerships. Strengthen and build internal and external relationships.
  • Identify and create business opportunities. Consult with current and potential external partners in developing marketing programs, messaging and event-related initiatives.
  • Motivate agency partners to deliver top quality marketing collateral, messaging and strategic frameworks in a timely manner within budget parameters.
  • Establish and monitor adherence to guidelines for developing and implementing marketing plans to serve the business objectives.
  • Ensure the team stays informed of changes in the marketing environment.


Qualifications

Minimum Required Experience

  • 8-10 years
  • Managerial experience 


Desired Experience

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Masters or relevant graduate degree a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish a plus
  • Financial/Mortgage industry experience a plus

  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • The group of skills related to Marketing including leading and developing marketing deliverables (such as but not limited to marketing collateral and content, web pages, social media and digital assets, sales toolkits), planning, developing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, managing the media, tracking, monitoring and reporting out project results, etc.
  • Adept at managing project plans, deadlines, cross-functional resources, and people to ensure successful project completion, on budget and on time.
  • The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging internal and external stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • The group of skills related to Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
  • Collective capabilities for leadership, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
  • The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • End-to end marketing strategy and multi-channel execution experience and ability to optimize campaigns based on results (emphasis in digital channels)
  • Proven track record collaborating with internal stakeholders and acting as a change agent within large, matrixed organization.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving decisions and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to extract insightful customer feedback, develop innovative marketing strategies and measure results.
  • Detail-oriented, independent and motivated individual who can prioritize and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision.


Tools

  • Experience using SharePoint
  • Experience using TEAMS
  • Skilled in Excel, Power Point and Word
