Marketing Production Designer

Remote (United States)

Come join our marketing team as a generalist designer who will collaborate on designs and help maintain the Credly/Pearson brand experience. Credly envisions a world where every person can achieve their full potential based on verified skills.


You will be under the direction of the Design Manager to continue creating the new Credly/Pearson visual brand. You will regularly collaborate with the product, marketing, revenue, and customer success teams to help promote new products and features for product lines and thought leadership.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Social media design (Static & Motion)
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter
  • Facebook (2 sizes)
  • Collateral creation and updates (PDF & Hubspot web-based)
  • Creating new collateral or updating existing
  • Updating the brand on existing collateral
  • Presentation design (Google Slides & PPT)
  • This may include creating diagrams
  • Building on and maintaining brand elements
  • May include but are not limited to:
  • Icons, Illustrations, & Avatars
  • Photography (applying filters or light photo editing stock)
  • Updating internal brand guidelines
  • Updating design and layout of Hubspot web pages
  • Maintaining and creating brand templates.
  • Possibly rendering (exporting) video


Collaborator & Design Generalist

  • Collaborate on developing brand guidelines and ensure brand consistency across platforms and mediums
  • Proactively seek and incorporate feedback on design direction and execution
  • Help shape Design Team processes to improve internal workflow and normalize team-wide design process and culture
  • Collaborate across teams and disciplines to refine and iterate on current experiences
  • Support design and production of learning resources and promotional materials
  • Provide design support, feedback, and consulting across the broader team


Qualifications

STRONG PREFERENCE FOR

  • Degree in visual design or four years of equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of design industry experience
  • Online portfolio showcasing design work
  • Attention to detail
  • Passion for designing creative/expressive experiences and solving unique problems
  • Strong interest in using inclusive research processes to inform design decisions
  • Experience working with a Creative Director and project manager
  • Passion for learning new skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with design software including:
  • Adobe suite
  • Illustrator
  • Photoshop
  • InDesign
  • Possibly Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • MS Office
  • Figma
  • Google Suite
  • U. S. work authorization required


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience creating iconographic systems, illustrations, and/or motion graphics or willingness to learn
  • HubSpot, Wrike, and Video editing experience
  • Experience writing and editing HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript


Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. As required by the Colorado and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows: Minimum full-time salary range is between $60,000 - $70,000.
