Marketing Planning & Strategy Manager

This role will support the Marketing Planning and Strategy team by developing and operationalizing automated reporting processes that impact the marketing organization.


This role supports the dynamic growth of the business through the design, standardization, and harmonization of data across our internal systems that allow our business partners to work faster and smarter.


This individual will build the reporting leveraged in our marketing leadership teams’ monthly business reviews and will be fundamental in partnering with our performance marketing organization to track return on investment and spend efficiency.


The candidate needs to be detail oriented, have the ability to transform unstructured data into executive-level insights, while being an excellent collaborator and communicator across teams and time zones.


Responsibilities:

  • Rhythm of the Business: manage Monthly Business Review reporting, agendas, and stakeholder updates for the Chief Marketing Officer and extended leadership team to track progress against organization goals and targets.
  • Drive alignment between marketing operations and marketing performance teams to ensure relevant data can be captured and mapped to our budget management systems to evaluate the effectiveness of campaign spend.
  • Prioritize marketing reporting enhancements, data requests, and system requirements from marketing stakeholders.
  • Create dashboards & standardized reports using internal platforms and effectively track key metrics for consolidated marketing reporting.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Tableau desktop or similar data visualization tool (ability to perform calculations, parameters, etc)
  • Proficient in SQL: ability to write queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and native Salesforce reporting
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in fast paced environments
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work and collaborate with worldwide teams
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Analytics, and/or Business Operations
  • Salesforce Administrator and Tableau certification a plus

Washington Salary $121,800 - $176,400
