The Team

Deloitte’s Marketing Excellence team combines the power of Deloitte’s brand with the most inspired marketing techniques to produce business results for our clients. From events to social media to digital strategy and execution, we elevate the Deloitte brand and strategic positioning, delivering a cohesive, consistent experience. The team brings together creative and technology skills, business insights, and industry best practices to develop innovative creative assets that engage our clients. It also executes with agility and measurable performance through best-of-breed solutions, centralization of key information and operations, and optimization of data, tools, people and process.

 

Responsibilities include

  • Manage annual strategic planning process for team, working closely with team leadership, team members, internal agency (Green Dot Agency/GDA) and other Marketing Excellence (ME) stakeholders
  • Coordinate annual goals, working closely with CMG ME team to define goals and monitor/maintain metrics/KPI reporting for all team goals
  • Maintain biweekly reporting, marketing event/web tracker, year-end and mid-year reports, and all other regular required reporting on team activities; serve as POC/project manager for ongoing ME reports, presentations, newsletter/webcast content submissions/deadlines, including bi-monthly business reviews with leadership; serve as team POC for ME stakeholder satisfaction process
  • Manage CMG ME team budget; serve as POC on all marketing budget-related topics; ensure alignment of annual campaign codes with GDA and in Workfront (marketing project management platform); lead reallocation of budget as needed during year to ensure application of resources to areas of greatest need/opportunity; vendor management and tracking
  • Identify, develop, and execute process and tools that will lead consistency across the team and scaling of best practices
  • Keep a pulse on external marketing operations best practices through trainings, research, and ongoing discussions across other marketing operations professional
  • Work closely with GDA to ensure optimal collaboration and ongoing alignment on resource allocation, agency utilization and performance metrics; evaluate and approve all Workfront campaign submissions; serve as team POC for GDA collaboration
  • Collaborates on special projects for CMG ME Business Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Excellence Operations Leader
  • Serve as liaison with internal communications team re: newsletters, webcasts, and other areas of collaboration


Requirements include

  • 10+ years of specifically relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing or Communications preferred)
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with teams in a professional services or large, matrixed organization preferred
  • Ability to work well in a virtual team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of leadership
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Strong executive presence, professional client service manner, demonstrated ability to take initiative, confident
  • Advanced communication skills – across variety of stakeholder groups – with ability to pivot
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Organized with ability to prioritize and manage client expectations across multiple, competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Potential travel of up to 10% (While 10% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
