Position Objective

Konica Minolta is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join their Demand Generation Team. This will be a new, critical role responsible for powering the engine that supports all areas of marketing. We are looking for someone that has built, operated, and scaled marketing technology stacks and related internal project processes to drive demonstrable impact on the business.


This role will bring the latest B2B Marketing best practices in reporting, analytics, marketing attribution, database strategy, and audience segmentation as well as marketing technology capabilities.  A self-driven, detail oriented, data-driven guru that works well with others. Responsible for all aspects of marketing efforts around program automation design, audience filters, personalization, database management, data hygiene, email execution, lead management, analyst and measurement for continuous optimization. You will own Konica Minolta’s digital presence and lead the optimization of our user journey - from prospect awareness to customer success. This person is highly organized, has excellent time and project management skills and is able to quickly prioritize in a fast-paced environment.


This position will lead the marketing operations and will report to the Director, Demand Generation.


Essential Job Functions

  • Optimize marketing technology stack that will help the demand generation team drive efficiency in the execution of various programs.
  • Demonstrate a deep technical knowledge of data, data management, and insights, and can translate and transform that data into actionable insights. You can skillfully identify and manage areas of operational improvement based on the needs and strategies of Corporate Marketing, Channel Marketing, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Marketing Data teams.
  • Execute on database strategy that will support territories growth; maintain processes for database growth, contact and account enrichment, data hygiene, data governance and quality, data security and compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate with Technology partners on data integration initiatives in support of new targeting, segmentation, and personalization capabilities.
  • Ensure segmentation supports testing strategies that allow for accurate measurement of campaign performance.
  • Oversee Marketing Automation system including production of assets, integrations, tracking and reporting.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards on campaign performance and email/push channel health metrics
  • Partner with Marketing and Business Intelligence stakeholders to assess campaign performance and make recommendations for optimizing future efforts
  • Monitor and analyze demand generation campaigns ROI through metrics and dashboards to increase marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue.
  • Improve lead-to-revenue process to achieve higher marketing qualified leads. Track conversions at each stage in the buying cycle across various channels and touch points.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends to understand how Konica Minolta’s funnel performance compares to best in class standards
  • Lead marketing operations activities, develop and grow the marketing operations team.


Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Superior reasoning, planning, project and time management skills
  • Proficient in marketing automation and CRM tools (SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP CRM 360, Google Analytics, with Google Analytics SAP MC, SAP CRM, and SQL experience. Experience with Monday.com, Data Warehouse and Marketing Customer Platform a plus.
  • In addition to your marketing process expertise, you have 5+ years of experience 
  • Proven track record of driving operational projects from conception to implementation to refinement
  • Excellence in organizational and project management with the ability to lead multiple complex projects
  • Proficient in Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Must be familiar with customer attributes and outbound campaign data (email, push)
  • Strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of campaign performance and channel health metrics
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications (esp. Excel,Viseo and PowerPoint)
  • Analytic and decisive thinker with the ability to prioritize and communicate objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals
  • Action-oriented, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management
  • You are curious and enjoy learning about new technologies and their application and impact on business
  • Quick thinker, creative hands-on, problem solver with a keen sense of judgment and flexibility to manage competing or shifting priorities
  • Flexibility to accommodate emerging responsibilities and last-minute changes, but ability to push back when necessary


Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in a marketing operations role, ideally in a B2B Technology (experience at a data company is a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study
  • Experience creating segments in support of multi-channel campaigns and automated customer journeys
