Marketing Manager

Newport Beach, CA

The New Ventures Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading marketing for current and future New Ventures projects including our current pizza venture, Pizzeria Locale. This role will be accountable for:

  1. Pizzeria Locale marketing plan & execution
  2. Future new concept development, launch marketing plans, business analysis, ongoing plan revisions based in consumer and market learning
  3. New Ventures consumer learning & marketing playbook to support current and future ventures
  4. New concept development to support future master plan

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work with Pizzeria Locale to understand their current marketing plan, analysis and future plans. Build, align with manager, and execute PL marketing plan beginning later this year.
  • Lead new market plan development and execution by continuing to be consumer-insight driven, breakthrough go-to-market strategies and briefs, and cross-functional coordination to ensure flawless in-market consumer experience, in-restaurant and in digital channels.
  • Understanding of key business drivers and critical business needs to deliver profitable expansion or shut down.
  • Be a thought-leader in the timing and sequencing of new menu items timing and strategy, guiding product development from concept to launch (including test markets and national launches), including merchandising, pricing, and activation.
  • New Ventures Consumer Learning & Marketing Playbook: Take learning from core Chipotle expertise to develop the marketing playbook and share knowledge and learning with the x-functional team as appropriate. This will be a live playbook, so continue to adapt and change as we continue to learn.
  • Future New Ventures Landscape assessment, concept development and phase 2 recommendations. Assess new menu opportunities through the continuous evaluation of the competitive landscape, consumer insights, new food trends, and culture. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 5-8 years of experience in Local Marketing, Digital Marketing, 3rd party marketplace marketing (e.g. DoorDash)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
