Marketing Intern

As a member of the U.S. West Region marketing team, you will work with professionals across 31 states that comprise the West Region


The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Works with a variety of technical and marketing staff
  • Supports senior marketing leads
  • Works under general supervision and collaboration with the marketing leader and teams.
  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
  • Intern 2 – completion of second year of qualified study


Minimum Requirements

  • Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English with an emphasis or specialization in Social Media.
  • Completion of at least 2 years of qualified study.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Knowledge of social media publishing platforms
  • Ability to work remotely using web-based platforms for meetings and project collaboration
  • Understands marketing and communications
  • Hands-on experience / previous internship experience using social media to promote an organization, group or business
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and social listening tools
  • Background in understanding and providing metrics-based recommendations to improve engagement and increase followers
  • Proficient in MS Office (current version): Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate within a team setting
