Marketing Coordinator

New York, NY

We’re looking for a motivated, highly organized, and collaborative Marketing Coordinator to support the SVP, Global Integrated Marketing and Public Relations, SVP, Global Licensed Marketing, and SVP Entertainment Relations. The ideal candidate is focused and willing to actively work behind the scenes to ensure that their teams are functioning smoothly and efficiently. He/she will be highly detail oriented and professional, resourceful, efficient, flexible and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking and attention to detail are equally important.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as key day-to-day marketing point of contact for global/regional marketing teams and merchandising/product design/sales teams
  • Partner with team to identify, develop, and maintain seasonal global marketing objectives, priorities, plans and processes to drive global & regional business and global brands
  • Support brief submission process ensuring requested deliverable, context, and background are clear
  • Maintains contacts and calendar, appointment scheduling, departmental meetings, and conference arrangements
  • Handles logistics associated with meetings, appointments and conferences
  • Proactively manages and prioritizes incoming and outgoing communications, including external/internal mail, telephone calls, reports, etc.
  • Files and organizes communications to ensure smooth and timely flow of information in and out of the office. Consolidates information from multiple sources to facilitate supervisors’ review
  • Create presentation/decks as per direction from SVPs (specific projects as assigned)
  • Project management as per direction from SVPs (specific projects as assigned)
  • Works independently on specific projects as assigned
  • Creates, formats and edits correspondence with precision and minimal direction
  • Supports SVPs with Expense and Travel Management
  • Maintains & tracks expenses, & reviews monthly
  • Follows up on various activities to ensure closure, completion and deadlines are met. May include weekly reports, status updates, meeting follow-up, requests for information, projects, programs, events, etc.
  • Creates & maintains organized office filing systems for supervisors & self
  • Maintains Business Continuity Plans for marketing teams
  • Facilitate new employee set-up within organization
  • Maintains & orders all office supplies


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • 2-3 years’ of marketing & administrative experience


Education:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) preferred


Skills:

  • Ability to work cross functionally in global capacity in a fast-paced, creative environment wit hteam members at all levels
  • Passionate about fashion, art, pop culture
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with a desire to maintain schedule, filing systems and calendar
  • Excellent at handling changing priorities; multi-tasking
  • Strong prioritization & follow-up skills; strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to draft correspondence with minimal direction
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Must be proactive and resourceful with all tasks
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
