Marketing & Content Writer

The Proposal Manager/Technical Writer manages request for proposal (RFP) responses, acts as lead to generate content and strategy efforts, and creates and writes content specific for pursuits.

• Collaborates with sales professionals to develop strategies and value propositions for proposals, presentations, and other pursuit-related materials.
• Reviews RFP specifications
• Researches and resolves complex issues pertaining to RFP responses.
• Develops and edits proposal and presentation content in addition to other marketing and pitch materials for new business development pursuits.
• Ensures compliance with all RFP requirements.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients, and the ability to effectively present information.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 years in proposal management, content writing, marketing and/or communications.
• Understanding of construction management, owner’s representation, project management and/or AEC.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Ability to work successfully in a service-oriented, matrixed environment.  
• Strong organizational skills, detail focused with tenacious follow up skills.
• Ability to translate broad concepts and ideas into clear and logical communications including graphics.
• High degree of energy, assertiveness, and creativity.
• Ability to produce multiple deliverables quickly, while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce.
