Manager, Talent Acquisition

Miramar, FL

The Manager, Talent Acqusition ensures that Spirit effectively attracts, selects, and on-boards high performing team members to accomplish our vision, execute our strategies, and achieve expected results. By understanding our business needs and developing effective relationships with internal customers, the Talent Acquisition Manager designs, develops, and executes highly effective talent acquisition systems, processes, and tools with measured results and continuous improvement.

  • Consult with assigned client teams and hiring managers to understand the business needs and develop talent acquisition strategies to identify and source current open positions.
  • Manage the multi-channel recruiting process to fill the pipeline with high-quality candidates, including search, internal recruiting, internet, employee referral, social networking, college recruiting, internships, job fairs, etc.
  • Manage the recruiting life cycle for assigned client teams and hiring managers to include sourcing, assessments, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offering, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Drive alternative sourcing for active and passive candidate sourcing utilizing social media, internet sourcing, networking, and other means to creatively source candidates.
  • Assist in developing college and technical school recruiting by creating a company presence and establishing working relationships with key contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to cost-effectively simplify, standardize, and automate talent acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to measure, track, and report recruiting initiatives' status and success, including search progress, candidate pipeline, diversity, and recruiting channel effectiveness for assigned client groups.
  • Develop SLAs with client groups and hiring managers and conduct regular follow-up meetings to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans, candidate quality, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments).


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience. 
  • Excellent Communication and Organization Skills.
  • Comfortable handling interaction with third-party representatives.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Capable of working on multiple projects at once on more than one subject matter with the ability to transition from one mind frame to another efficiently and timely.
