The Manager of Sales Planning & Strategy plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team and Sales Director by devising effective strategies to maximize sales revenue, analyzing market trends, and facilitating cross-team communication and management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive strategic plans on an annual, monthly, weekly, and daily basis, aligning with sales goals and customer forecasts.
- Oversee and direct all sales activities, providing guidance and supervision to sales teams.
- Manage daily order processing and shipping operations, ensuring the efficient handling of all orders.
- Address and resolve customer complaints related to products or services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Lead the recruitment and training efforts for new sales representatives, fostering a skilled and motivated team.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients to sustain and enhance business partnerships.
- Set clear sales quotas and objectives while coordinating promotional activities to boost sales performance.
- Formulate and execute territory-specific sales plans.
- Establish sales guidelines and identify areas for enhancement within the sales process.
- Engage with customers to discern their needs and preferences, providing information on new products or services.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand sales by identifying untapped markets for existing products or creating new offerings to cater to specific consumer segments.
- Conduct market trend analysis to pinpoint growth opportunities within current markets or identify potential new markets for products.
- Assemble cross-functional teams to create new products or improve existing ones based on customer feedback.
- Manage the development of pricing strategies that align with customer requirements, industry standards, and competitor offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify prospective clients who can benefit from the company's products or services.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns aimed at raising product and service awareness among potential clients.
- Create departmental budgets based on projected sales figures to guide financial planning.
- Develop contingency plans to address seasonal fluctuations in product and service demand effectively.
- Proven experience in sales and strategic planning, with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant role.
- Demonstrated success in sales team management and achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and sales performance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships and address customer concerns.

69,000.00 - 137,000.00 USD Annual
