NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Will responsible for developing, planning, and managing the implementation of retail design projects and programs in a variety of geographies, including planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost in Beaverton, OR. Will define tools and process to support overall organizational excellence in program and project management and process definition in the area of retail design. Will utilize project management experience to manage projects with a duration of typically twelve months or less with multiple business functions and a regional scope. Will work with project sponsors to define business benefits, business requirements, and project scope.


Will facilitate effort estimations and will develop asset acquisition requirements. Will track and report on actuals against the forecast. Will manage project budgets of one million dollars or more. Will manage change control against scope and its impacts to time, cost, and quality. Will define project schedule, manage task assignments, and track work against the schedule. Will engage in 25 percent or less domestic and international travel. 


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, retail design, or retail operations.


Experience:

  • Ten years of overall progressive experience in architecture and retail design.


Skills/Requirements: 8 years of experience:

  • Retail construction;
  • Retail operations;
  • Managing architectural vendors, including reviewing their design processes and construction documents;
  • Designing the consumer journey in stores, including reviewing store sites and layouts;
  • Reviewing store layouts to ensure efficiency in operation, accessibility to products, product presentation, and digital retail accessibility;
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams in a global environment to ensure consistent retail designs;
  • Reviewing store layouts to determine capacity and attractiveness and to ensure that profit expectations are met;
  • Managing retail design and architecture to ensure that at least 20 million or more in revenue is received; (9) retail real estate business, including landlord negotiations and code requirements; and
  • AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
