Manager, Public Relations

Aritzia is growing and our Consumer Communications team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for building and executing strategic consumer communications plans that define how Aritzia's story is shared, while elevating Aritzia's fashion profile and driving brand awareness and relevance. As the Manager, Consumer Communications, you will support with establishing effective and brand propelling fashion and lifestyle communications while cultivating strong relationships with the media and key stakeholders. As the Manager, Consumer Communications, you will:

  • Develop a consumer communications approach that increases brand awareness and strengthens media relations amongst top-tier consumer media
  • Increase fashion editorial credibility and relevance in top-tier fashion media through creative and proactive PR outreach
  • Elevate Aritzia’s broader cultural relevance in top-tier art, design, and cultural media
  • Build and strengthen relationships with top-tier consumer media through intentional activations and proactive outreach, as well as with agency partners to ensure optimal agency execution and press coverage results
  • Seamlessly manage and measure our consumer communications programs


THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Manager, Consumer Communications has:

  • Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in PR, media relations, and communications, including:
  • Strong writing, analytical, and public speaking skills
  • Strong fashion media relationships in the US and North America
  • Experience in managing fashion Public Relations/Communications at a relevant fashion brand
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
