Manager of Brand & Corporate Communications
Anthropologie is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Brand and Corporate Communications. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying Anthropologie's brand identity, strengthening our corporate messaging, and enhancing our overall communication efforts across various channels. The ideal candidate is a seasoned communications professional with a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of driving impactful brand narratives.
- Brand Communications Strategy: Oversee and execute on the comprehensive brand communication strategies that align with Anthropologie's overall brand vision, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
- Storytelling: Craft compelling and authentic brand stories that resonate with Anthropologie audiences across industry, trade, retail, and consumer media.
- Corporate Communications: Lead the development of clear and effective corporate communication materials, including press releases, executive messaging, and internal communications to enhance storytelling and brand alignment.
- Executive Communications: Have a passion to elevate the leaders of the brand to tell Anthropologie story from their unique POV and increase industry authority.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, pitch brand stories, and manage media inquiries to secure positive media coverage and maintain a favorable brand image.
- Social Cause Communications: Partner closely with internal team to identify purpose driven communication moments throughout the year to amplify brand commitments and partnerships across philanthropic and charitable work.
- Metrics and Analysis: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize results.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, and Stores, to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment across all customer touchpoints.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand communications, corporate communications, or related roles, preferably in the retail or lifestyle industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand communication strategies that drive engagement, awareness, and loyalty.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Strong media relations experience, with a network of media contacts across relevant industries.
- Experience in crisis communication and issues management, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Creative thinker with the ability to translate brand values and concepts into impactful campaigns.
- Proficiency in data analysis to measure campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, digital platforms, and emerging communication technologies.
