This role will be a hybrid role based in Hoffman Estates, IL


As the Manager of Digital Media, you will be responsible for supporting the development & execution of a comprehensive digital media strategy to drove omni traffic and sales for Claire’s.


You will partner closely with Marketing to understand key business goals and objectives to translate that into effective content for all platforms and/or channels.  This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing multi-channel media campaigns & working closely with external agencies to achieve strong results. 


The position will have an opportunity to make a significant impact to our business and will partner with Director of Growth & Insights to build future media team. A balance of strategic thinking, operational excellence, risk taking, strong communication skills will be critical for this role.


Main Responsibilities

  • Define and execute digital marketing strategies across upper, mid, and lower funnel channels, including paid search, paid social, programmatic advertising, and video, in partnership with external agencies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media agencies, ensuring clear communication, alignment on objectives, and effective execution of media plans. Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and evaluate agency performance regularly – getting the most out of the relationship(s).
  • Oversee the implementation of media campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to brand guidelines, and alignment with overall marketing strategies. Monitor and adjust campaigns to maximize effectiveness.
  • Participate in roadmapping of strategy.  Define and build test and learn agenda ensuring regular channel and platform tests with clearly defined goals and objectives to measure and optimize against.
  • Manage and optimize media budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources. Track and report on spending and provide insights to improve ROI and overall campaign performance.
  • Utilize analytics and performance data to assess the effectiveness of media campaigns. Provide daily/weekly/monthly reporting and insights to senior leadership, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform media strategies and maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. 
  • 5+ year(s) experience in digital marketing, marketing analytics or performance marketing – retail, apparel and omni-channel experience a plus
  • 2+ years within an ecommerce or agency environment – retail, apparel and omni-channel experience a plus
  • Proven track record in working with both agencies and platforms – creating an extension of the media team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.  Experience with reporting on KPIs., marketing performance and shopping flows.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and experience with multi-touch attribution methodology and/or platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-past environment and manage multiple projects and level of tasks.
