Manager, IT

Calabasas, CA

We are actively looking for an IT Manager to lead IT activities in our Calabasas office, overseeing a local IT staff. This role will be focused on end user, VIP and event support, including supporting the Wella top level Executives either based there or visiting. You will be accountable for quality support of IT local service including management of local IT services, and hardware support for laptops, mobiles, Videoconference systems and audio video equipment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning and managing the local IT support team (1 resources)
  • Reporting the service level to IT leadership
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company
  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
  • Provide VIP servic
  • Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Create and maintain tips and tricks solutions
  • Provide introductory on-line & classroom training for newcomers or ongoing

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in team management
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Previous working experience in IT support for 5+ years
  • Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
  • In depth knowledge of Windows, Polycom, Cisco WebEx, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience in 3rd party management
  • ITSM tools (ServiceNow) is a plus
