Manager, International Tax

Irving, TX

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to join the International Tax group. The main responsibilities of the International Tax will be to assist in the preparation and review of U.S. international tax reporting requirements and to provide support to tax leadership.


Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the data gathering related to, preparation of, and review of work papers and U.S. international informational tax returns (e.g., Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, and 8865)
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of the U.S. international aspects of the annual tax return (e.g., GILTI, subpart F, and foreign tax credits)
  • Researching and preparing technical materials (e.g., memos and notes to the file) to document positions related to tax planning projects and other related initiatives
  • Working closely with consultants on tax return preparation and review
  • Working on various projects related to process improvements and compliance
  • Supporting the international tax team and consultants on various compliance and project-based tasks
  • Perform tax research and model tax impacts of tax planning, M&A, U.S. and foreign tax reform legislation, etc. 


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years international and federal tax experience in Big 4 or comparable tax experience in a large multinational corporation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Masters in taxation, licensed CPA, JD, and/or LLM (with a concentration in tax) preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of U.S. international and domestic tax law and experience in global tax structuring and strategies.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, strong project management skills including the ability to manage both internal and external resources and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exhibit analytical thinking, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
