What are we looking for?

The HRIS Manager primary focus is to perform professional and technical work managing and leading the Human Resources (HR) Information System (HRIS). Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the system and the HRIS advisor in implementing business processes that streamline, data analysis and enhance workflows. Demonstrates and applies broad-based knowledge of all operations within HR in order to streamline processes. Develop system configurations and workflow processes to HRIS system as dictated by company business rules and changes. Provides quality assurance analysis and ensures integrity of HR data.

  • Serves as the HRIS leader to plan, develop, test, and implement new and revised HRIS upgrades and enhancements
  • Maintain, develop, and modify applications, system configurations, security, and workflow processes
  • Consults and works collaboratively with functional experts to develop implementation strategy, taking into consideration specific needs and overall project goals
  • Identifies, investigates, and determines technical and procedural problems, issues, and circumstances and conducts remedies for resolution and documents outcomes as needed
  • Conducts system audits, verifies accuracy of new or revised HRIS components, methods, or processes; develops and runs audits to ensure accuracy of data entry
  • Performs system maintenance and troubleshooting in the processing and/or retrieval of associate data in the HRIS
  • Designs, develops, and delivers HRIS trainings as the SME; Supports the design and functionality of HCM systems, processes, and related activities
  • Day to day support of HCM Time and Attendance, Recruitment, Onboarding, HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation
  • Creates and manages security and profile settings for HCM users.
  • Executes HCM’s application administration tasks, including Self Service settings, user profiles, performance cycles, workflows, and notifications
  • Assists HR team and other end-users to identify, analyze, and document business needs and requirements
  • Assists in development and running of weekly, monthly, and yearly standard and custom reports for ongoing internal customer needs
  • Coordinates integration solutions using Dayforce HCM and other import tools, including business process analysis, design, development, and testing
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Maintains strong partnerships with HR, Payroll and other stakeholders
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership
  • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics
  • May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What’s necessary to do the job?

  • A bachelor's degree and five (5) to seven (7) years in the development and administration of an HRIS system. Ceridian Day Force required
  • Management experience required
  • Strong functional knowledge of Human Resources business processes (compensation, benefits, and supporting operations) and computer software applications such as Microsoft Office and database maintenance and management. Any appropriate combination of education and experience

The wage range for applicants for this position is [$90,000 to $110,000].
