As the Manager of Graphic Design & Visual Media, you will be entrusted with upholding and evolving our brand identity, fostering innovation, and contributing significantly to Bristol Myers Squibb's visual legacy.


The Manager - Graphic Design & Visual Media will report to the Creative Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life.


Responsibilities:

  • Play a crucial role in supporting BMS's multichannel communications, including the creation of digital graphics, internal communications, marketing campaigns, web components, and digital signage.
  • Develop visually compelling designs for various marketing materials, encompassing both print and digital assets, ensuring alignment with our brand identity.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to comprehend project goals and requirements, translating them into impactful visual solutions.
  • Ensure the creative design aesthetic consistently adheres to established brand guidelines, fostering a cohesive and recognizable visual identity.
  • Stay abreast of evolving design trends and industry best practices, incorporating innovative elements into design projects.
  • Provide creative input and design direction for both internal and external campaigns, leveraging your expertise to elevate the visual storytelling experience.
  • Produce dynamic motion graphics, animations, and short-form social videos that enhance our brand presence across digital platforms.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with copywriters and photographers, fostering a cohesive integration of copy, visuals, and messaging in all visual storytelling initiatives.
  • Enforce companywide standards to maintain the design integrity of marketing materials, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution.
  • Participate actively in design reviews, offering constructive feedback and insights to refine and enhance the quality of design deliverables.


Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, layout, and composition.
  • Experience in both print and digital design.
  • Portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design across various mediums.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Passion for staying abreast of design trends and industry advancements.
