Manager, Global Talent Acquisition, Streaming

Univision has launched their first streaming service, PrendeTV which is the first and only streaming channels-based and VOD service created specifically for U.S. Hispanic audiences. As we continue to evolve our digital organization, we are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team as a Director, Global Talent Acquisition supporting our most impactful and rapidly growing Digital unit.


We are looking for an individual who can think strategically as well as roll up their sleeves and dive deep into practical application. In this role you will work directly with the HR partners supporting the streaming business build and hiring managers to source, recruit, hire and onboard the best digital and tech talent, to develop a great candidate experience and cultural assimilation, and to support digital initiatives that will push the platform to become the leading streaming service in the Hispanic market. The Manager, Global Talent Acquisition will be an experienced hands-on Recruiter capable of providing strategic and tactical support to a growing and dynamic digital/streaming content team. This role will play the critical role of Subject Matter Expert and advisor to HR partners, hiring managers and  business leaders regarding talent acquisition strategies. While all positions are remote currently, ideally this role would be based in FL, NY or LA.


WHAT YOU WILL DO HERE:

  • Lead and drive Talent Acquisition strategies in order to deliver best in class talent for PrendeTV Univision’s streaming organization.
  • Build and develop Talent Acquisition strategies to attract great talent to the brand.
  • Create a culture of excitement around an established employer brand that drives to the mission, vision and values of the organization.
  • Partner with TA team members and hiring managers to understand position specifications and determine appropriate recruitment strategy
  • Drive searches end-to-end for key professional, technology experts & managerial level positions
  • Utilize your unique skills, contacts, networks and relationships to identify, source and attract top talent to build a robust candidate pipeline with broadcast industry or related experience to fill our openings.
  • Develop dashboards to maintain HR and Leaders aware of key recruitment metrics.
  • Present key metrics, analysis and insights to HR and Business leaders regarding the changing landscape of Talent Acquisition.
  • Leverage internal and external market data to drive, streamline, update and improve candidate experience.
  • Have the pulse on media industry market trends to influence hiring practices and be a source of information to our HR and management community.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to manage sensitive situations and confidential searches
  • Provide expert consultation to assigned clients as it relates to the hiring process
  • Build proactive talent pipeline for needed roles / levels
  • Guide and provide input on policies, process and guidelines
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative talent acquisition techniques
  • Represent Univision in the marketplace


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience 
  • Minimum 4+ years of recruiting in the Digital Media or streaming space with proficiency using ATS systems
  • Experience in Entertainment and Online Media with strong industry network
  • Proven High level of organizational skills (including: detail orientation and strong follow-up/follow through skills), managing several searches simultaneously
  • Proven experience in leveraging Social Media channels and the latest technology for talent pipeline engagement/sourcing purposes
  • Experience performing efficiently within a high pressure, fast paced team environment
  • Strong ability to navigate, troubleshoot, advice on Applicant Tracking Systems, utilizing Workday Recruit.
  • Experienced in behavioral based interviewing, pre-employment testing, and other innovative selection methods


Desired Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft – Excel, Power Point and Word; or google products
  • Strong ability to navigate, troubleshoot, advice on Applicant Tracking Systems, utilizing Workday Recruit.
  • Bilingual Skills a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrates confidence and ability to network and develop relationships
  • Must be a strong team player with a collaborative “can do” attitude
  • Analytical skills and mindset


Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work from office in Miami, FL (or NY NY or LA, CA).
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
