Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and executive leadership, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall company objectives.
- Content Development: Create written content for various platforms, ensuring all messaging is clear and aligns with our brand voice.
- Prepare Messaging Framework for Announcements: Develop and maintain a messaging framework.
- Media Relations: Execute media relations to help create visibility for the company.
- Formulate External Communication Plans: Devise external communication strategies for various campaigns.
- Ensure Brand Consistency: Monitor all communications to guarantee a consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
- Monitor Media: Track media coverage and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making, analyze media coverage and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts.
- Social Media: support social media team by managing regional social media channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Communications, journalism, or a related field.
- 7-9+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related area, preferably in the technology sector.
- Proven experience in media relations and understanding of the media landscape.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and communication platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, social media platforms, digital communications tools, and experience with content management systems.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $91,400 - $169,700.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
