The Manager of FP&A will be focused on contributing to strategy, driving growth, and creating value for a very high growth modern music and media company. Responsibilities will be focused on managing the Company’s financial planning & analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and provide M&A and fundraise support.
Create is looking for a strategic professional with a hands-on, operational orientation who wants to influence the organization and drive results. The Manager of FP&A will be a highly visible financial and operational leader and will work with the SVP Finance to ensure that the appropriate processes are in place to support rapid progress of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Leadership
- Top-notch finance and modeling skills to support decision making, deliver business results, ensure transparency and clarity, and instill confidence among key stakeholders.
- Grow and oversee the FP&A team, ensuring that all key company decisions are financially grounded, and that policies and procedures are in place to ensure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting.
- Able to effectively communicate strategic and financial performance with internal and external stakeholders.
Business Partner
- Someone who knows how to work collaboratively to drive results – top and bottom line.
- Create a data-driven, transparent, and results minded organization.
- Provide internal dashboards and KPIs to assess and provide insights to the overall organization and each department.
- Effective at generating awareness of key issues, gaining leadership team support, and deploying finance resources effectively against solutions.
- Exceptional communicator in writing, in person, and via financial presentations.
Operational Improvement
- Play a critical role in the execution of company objectives and priorities.
- Lead business planning and financial analysis to support decision making, avoid mistakes, and support rapid progress of the business.
- Drive continued cost improvement and productivity initiatives across the organization, including new systems and processes.
- Monitor performance versus plans and forecasts and provide useful and objective analysis to other executives that helps inform and drive decision making.
M&A/New Projects
- Collaborate with the leadership team on acquisition opportunities. Analyzing the opportunities and engaging external resources as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s in Finance or related field
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in corporate finance or banking
- Possess deep knowledge of financial modeling, KPIs, and analysis
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Start-up company experience preferred
- Music industry experience preferred
- FP&A software experience preferred

PAY SCALE:
- $140,000 - $150,000/annually
