Most EHS functions responsible for Nike-owned and operated facilities have a single reporting line through Nike Global Safety and Security within the Resilience Organization.


We are looking for a Manager, Environmental Health & Safety to lead and drive awareness and accountability for EHS performance at all levels. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local EHS regulations and for implementing global EHS programs.


Under the direction of the EHS Director the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager directs the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive health and safety management system for the Nike operations. Provides the leadership, expertise, planning and training to obtain company-wide excellence in health and safety. This position is responsible for monitoring State, Federal and Local regulations to ensure Nike is actively involved in emerging issues and poised to address new and modified regulations. Additionally, the Health and Safety Manager supports all site management teams as well with all Health and Safety related requirements. This position is part of a larger global EHS and Resilience team at Nike!


Under the direction of the EHS Director the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager directs the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive health and safety management system for the Nike operations.



  • 5+ years of relevant work experience implementation of environmental, health, and safety procedures
  • 2 years' additional experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DEQ, EPA, NIOSH, ANSI and NFPA regulations
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of employees in a clear, concise and persuasive manner
  • Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene/Safety or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • Associate Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus
