Wella is a leading hair products company that owns iconic brands like Clairol, OPI. To continue this exciting journey and deliver on our customer promise, we are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Display and Sales Operations Manager.


This candidate leads the Retailer strategy enabling the sales organization to achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, keen business acumen, and excellent interpersonal abilities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build strong relationships with the Sales organization leading to an in-depth understanding of their retailer, shopper, competition & key focus points to enable development of winning display strategies for Clairol.
  • Work as part of the Retail Hair Trade Marketing team to serve as a liaison between Sales, Brand Trade Marketing, Local Marketing, Demand planning and Creative on display discussions and to enable field sales sell-in needs.
  • Work with marketing and sales to translate strategic vision, Innovation plan into display opportunities
  • Define and plan Display annual forecast, roadmap, calendar, and strategies across our customers
  • Manage and execute display opportunities, including account setup, organization, and management. Manage Display budget
  • Ensure display readiness, project tracking, execution, and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with in-house creative and communications team to test and optimize creative design, including dynamic display
  • Act as the subject matter expert for cross functional partners, sharing best practices, industry trends, monitoring competitive activity and developing KPI benchmarks
  • Issue annual US Retail Hair Commercial Readiness. Own Scorecards to global & local cross-functional teams.
  • Price List Maintenance
  • Manage Launch Sales Samples for All of Sales

Essential:

  • 3+ years’ prior experience in consumer package goods sales / trade marketing environment
  • Strategic thinking and Strong follow through skills are a must
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proactive approach – take initiative to do what’s needed for the business
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams with a customer-focused mindset
  • Knowledge of hair color category is a plus
