Manager, Data Analytics

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Data Analytics Manager to join the E-Commerce team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.


The Data Analytics Manager will be analyzing our digital & e-commerce performance to optimize and identify opportunities in our strategy. The successful candidate should be a motivated and highly analytical individual as they will play a crucial role in enhancing revenue growth and increasing team efficiency through insightful analysis and strategic recommendations that support key business initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and drive creation of daily, weekly, monthly performance reports across the e-commerce channel inclusive of site metrics, product and marketing performance, and customer behavior analyses 
  • Compile data and identify anomalies which warrant deeper analysis and present optimization opportunities
  • Consolidate and package reports and insights into well-organized, consumable presentations with actionable recommendations for senior-level stakeholders 
  • Field ad hoc requests, present findings and proactively deliver recommendations that inform strategy synthesizing large data sets into digestible and actionable takeaways
  • Serve as an objective source of truth and lead comprehensive process of data collection, presentation, and actionable insights across the e-commerce business performance 
  • Collaborate with core department members and cross functional partners, inclusive of Merchandising, Planning & Allocation, Marketing, CRM, and IT, to ensure data classification consistencies, align on anticipated analytical needs, expected outcomes, and hindsight deliverables 


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative/technical subject or relevant field (E-Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science)
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a high growth business-to-consumer model 
  • Must perform well in high pressure situations, balance competing priorities, showcase strong attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to work without significant direct supervisie
  • Expertise in Analytic Tools (Google Analytics 360 & GA4, Google Looker Studio, PowerBI)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office core suite, specially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SQL and raw data sets; Python or other programming languages is a plus 
  • Familiarity with Meta & Google Ads APIs


SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: 

The compensation for this position ranges from $95,000-$105,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
