Manager, Corporate Communications, Events & Philanthropy

Atlanta, GA

The Corporate Communications team is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, strategic and collaborative individual to lead corporate events such as our Global Meeting hosted by our CEO and our Annual Leadership Summit, and provide support for other Corporate Communications functions including our volunteer and philanthropy programs. This is a fantastic opportunity on an award-winning team for someone who is passionate about developing and executing best-in-class corporate events and wants to work on a variety of events and projects – from corporate meetings to lunch & learns and volunteer projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning of virtual and in-person corporate events including our quarterly Global Meetings, Earnings Explained, annual Leadership Summit and company-wide speaker series. 
  • Manage all aspects of our corporate events, including but not limited to logistics, agenda and content development, sourcing venues, transportation, budget management, partnering with outside A/V agencies and more.
  • Execute event-related communications including Save the Dates, calendar invitations, FAQs, etc.
  • Manage relationship with various vendors including host hotels, caterers, transportation, etc. (Note that we do not partner with external event planners).
  • Handle post-event surveys and use the feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support our philanthropy programs, including organizing group volunteer projects and working with our employee ambassadors and nonprofit partners, as needed. 
  • Other communications support and project management as needed.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university preferred
  • 4-6 years’ work experience in events and project management, in an agency or corporate setting
  • Track record of success with large events
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong executor
  • Quick learner
  • Highly flexible
  • Creative and able to think outside the box
  • Ability to stay cool and handle pressure in stressful positions
  • Poised, polished, professional; ability to interact with senior executives
  • Good sense of humor and willing to roll with the punches
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (15-20% travel on average)
