Manager, Brand Operations

Vernon, CA

The Manager, Brand Operations will serve as a will act as a the cross-functional liaison between the Buying, Studio Production and Creative Services teams. This role is pivotal in communicating the vision of the Buying team and ensuring that the Studio Production and Creative teams execute that vision seamlessly. 



  • Act as the cross functional creative lead who interfaces between Buying, Creative|Content, Studio, Social Media, Influencer Outreach, and eCommerce Site Merchandising to communicate themes, concepts, and timelines
  • Analyze data to identify and respond to category trends, competitive activity, health metrics, and consumption trends
  • Conduct pre-season planning, opportunity assessment, and big idea generation
  • Remain on the pulse of trend and competitive influences
  • Facilitate quarterly merchandise meeting with key stakeholders to outline big idea conception and key initiatives
  • Manage the weekly shoot priorities meeting
  • Lead communication briefs pertaining to launches, product moves, etcetera so that the teams may calibrate
  • Manage photo|marketing checklist for campaign launches

Editorial Photoshoots:

  • Manage editorial calendar
  • Facilitate product transition from Buying to Studio
  • Oversee shoot credits and ensure the eCommerce product shots are completed prior to the campaign launch
  • Assist with the shot list on editorial photoshoots
  • Manage the product assortment and ensure that all stakeholders have been provided with the product assortment lists


  • Ensure Studio and Buying are aligned on the trends bought into and overall styling direction
  • Communicate to Studio what is performing from a buying perspective and manage dialogue regarding eCommerce reshoots
  • Plan and lead monthly styling kick off between stylists and buyers based on Buying’s big ideas generation
  • Determine eCommerce and Content|Editorial overlap and facilitate the efficient execution
  • Review reshoots from CNR and provide critique and direction
  • Review daily eCommerce images for styling, retouching, selects or posing critiques
  • Partner with Studio teams on managing zero selling and Studio new SKU reports


  • Four plus years of experience in Buying and|or Merchandising 
  • Highly organized with an ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and initiative
  • Knowledge, relationships, and passion within the fashion industry
  • Strong leadership profile and experience at training and developing a team
  • Ability to plan, prepare and execute strategic business plans
  • Ability to develop effective processes and procedure that support business growth
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management, build partnerships and direct teams
  • Must display a high degree of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to predict and maximize trends
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • English, additional language(s) an advantage 
  • Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
