Manager, Advertising Operations (East)

Tubi has an exciting opportunity for an East Coast Ad Operations Manager! In this position, the East Coast Ad Operations Manager will be the main point of contact for all Ad Ops-related matters and will manage a team of East Coast-based Ad Ops Specialists. Ad Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining and improving upon Ad Ops process, campaign management, targeting, delivery & optimization, measurement, tracking & reporting. This individual will work closely with cross functional partners within Tubi including Sales, Account Management, Advanced TV as well as Engineering and Product teams. This role will report into the Senior Director of Ad Operations. 


The Ad Operations Manager will build relationships across Tubi teams, ensuring ad revenue commitments and client expectations are met and exceeded. You will be responsible for enhancing revenue growth through the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of go-to-market ad product strategies, programs, systems/tools, and initiatives. This is a consultative position in which creativity and flexibility are required to find optimal solutions for our revenue-generating advertising activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train a team of 3+ Ad Ops Specialists - specifically around driving performance as it pertains to campaign delivery and defining efficient workflows.
  • Assist senior-level management and accounting with the reconciliation of partner’s month-end billing statements
  • Critically evaluate current processes and overhaul where necessary to drive efficiencies and improve team performance
  • Assist AdOps and management with querying Tubi’s DB to troubleshoot or surface:
  • Ad responses
  • Fill rates
  • Frequency capping trends
  • Spend trends
  • Liaise with Product and Engineering teams in identifying ad server UI inefficiencies and facilitating with prioritization of internal resources based on revenue impact
  • Build a strong culture of camaraderie amongst the team’s region
  • With each team member, define goals in line with business objectives as well as each helping team members achieve personal goals
  • Improve team’s efficiencies. These can be tools built to make assembling tags easier, surfacing google Sheets-based reports to AEs easier, and sometimes building tools for your AM counterparts. 
  • Collect feedback from the team and escalate to other teams in order to enhance processes
  • Work cross functionally across Sales, Product and Engineering to standardize, develop and maintain current supply policy both internally and externally
  • Establish a mentor and mentee relationship and utilize expertise in training


What you will need:

  • 6-8+ years of online experience in Advertising Operations, specifically in video. The ideal candidate understands video ad serving as it pertains to HTTP protocol and VAST tagging as well as the order management ecosystem (eg., Salesforce as well as OMS experience)
  • Understanding of the Programmatic landscape and has experience with various SSPs (Magnite, SpotX, Xandr) including trafficking, tagging, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of how DMPs function, and their relation to trafficking
  • Experience working with and managing technology and measurement vendors for certifications including Doubleverify, IAS, Nielsen, MOAT, TAG, and others
  • Strong analytical background in Excel and/or Google Sheets using formulas
  • Strong background in SQL 
  • Strong management and supervisory skills


Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience drafting job descriptions, and working with recruiting on identifying Ad Ops candidates, and sometimes reaching out on your own accord


Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $117,500.00 - $136,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for a commission plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
