Logistics Operations Analyst

Morrisville, NC

This Logistics Operations Analyst position will support the day-to-day logistics operations for MBG/Motorola North America (US and Canada) through coordinating with Motorola Regional Business Operations and Logistics partners to provide best in class logistics experiences to both Internal and External Customers


What You’ll Do:

  • Direct support of the NA Motorola Business Operations team in coordinating the end-to-end logistics operations to ensure customer logistics requirements are exceeded
  • Support China and India origin operations teams with forecast activities and routing requirements
  • Coordinate the management of the Lenovo logistics partners and monitor their operational processes to ensure the Motorola logistics requirements are exceeded
  • Assist with the freight invoice audit and payment processing by working with both the Global Logistics procurement teams and Freight Invoice Audit teams to ensure logistics partners provide the correct detail
  • Coordinate with the US Domestic origin locations to provide logistics operations support
  • Develop, Manage and Analyze logistics reporting from performance, capacity management and cost perspectives
  • Support the day-to-day In-Transit reporting from our logistics partners for timely updates, accurate detail and managing any related escalations.  Including Proof of Delivery requests, critical shipment tracking/management and routing development
  • Coordinate with various internal teams to operate logistics projects and special requests


Position Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows OS
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and strategic abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Superior PowerPoint skills
  • Strong attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of relevant working experience
  • Team player attitude with the ability to work proactively & autonomously
