Logistics Inbound Project Manager

LGEUS works with multiple freight forwarders and consistently innovating the management of overall inbound operations. For more effective management of inbound shipments, the Inbound Operations Team is looking to implement a new system for inbound operations. The current inbound operation is very manual, and operational data is heavily Excel based. It's visibility is not in the system and most of the communications are email based. The primary focus of this role is to implement a new cloud based inbound transport management system (Drayage TMS) by the first half of 2023 that will improve inbound operational and cost visibility.



  • As-Is process review to be conducted and setup a new process with service providers including FNS and Pantos
  • All processes and communications to be made by the system
  • Build project timeline and set key milestone
  • Setup a new cost validation process through the system
  • Change management – system-based operation, system-based communication, system-based visibility
  • Improve operational and cost visibility
  • Creating short- and long-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Coordinate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Define key milestones and making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
  • Review existing warehouse operation and continuously look for opportunity to improve inbound related cost and operational efficiency (Depth of knowledge in iboundport operation is required)
  • Setup a new set of KPIs with new system and implement weekly, monthly and quarterly review process
  • Continuous improvement process setup and implementation
  • Ensure we have processes agreed with all stakeholders that each container has ETA (Estimated time arrival) and deliver as per ETA
  • Able to work and communicate with all stakeholders including service providers and internal/external customers



  • Bachelor's degree in SCM with 7+ years of inbound logistics and project management experience
  • Inbound and drayage experience
  • Project management experience
  • Microsoft project management tool
