Description and Requirements

The Channel Account Manager position will be responsible for growing Data Center revenue by enabling one of our most strategic partners to acquire customers and take solutions to market based on Lenovo technologies. This individual will be managing and maintaining account relationships through senior level engagements. They will also develop strategies for enhancing channel sales, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership for enterprise IT projects and communicate industry trends. 


The candidate must be able to position Lenovo product and channel value propositions to sellers within the partners business, as well as end customers. A strong working knowledge of the Data Center market, sales strategies to scale SMB & various channel strategies to connect enterprise sellers is preferred.  


This position will cover Zones based in either Portland, OR or Seattle, WA and a prior working knowledge of the partner account is a huge plus. This position will require roughly 25% travel. 


Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a quote-carrying field sales role, preferably in the Data Center space 
  • 2+ years of experience working with channel partners.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills 
  • An understanding of Managed Services sales and offerings is an asset Demonstrated team building, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements, concurrently.  
  • Candidate must have an entrepreneurial approach that is innovative, smart, passionate, and approachable.  
  • Channel sales experience is a plus.
