About the Role:

We are looking for a highly diligent and ambitious new graduate to join our legal team as a Legal Assistant. This opportunity does not require any prior experience, but rather a set of characteristics - hustle, resourcefulness, drive, intellectual curiosity, hustle, and diligence. We will provide hands-on training and you will be working closely with our founders and executive leadership team. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee legal framework, compliance, and licensing required to embed insurance and loans
  • Contract reviews, ensure we are compliant with state insurance, finance and data privacy laws
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with partners and vendors
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and improving Jerry’s legal policies and procedures to manage legal and business risk


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a competitive program
  • Ability to synthesize new information quickly
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
