Legal Operations Analyst

Based out of our San Francisco office, we are looking for someone who has excellent communication and judgment, is highly analytical, and has a track-record of supporting sales teams and contract operations by moving quickly and accurately and keeping stakeholders informed along the way. In addition, this position also supports our global legal team by on-boarding new law firms, setting up matters and budgets in our eBilling tool and creating accrual reports for finance.

What you’ll achieve

Global Contract Support and Records Management

  • Responsible for global signature process and policy compliance, including DocuSign updates, manual signature routing and keeping our global signature policy up-to-date
  • Maintain contract repository and archive processes within both Ironclad and Dropbox
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to create simple process steps, enablement materials and FAQs
  • Own all requests for executing contracts and other agreements for internal stakeholders


Global eBilling and Law Firm On-Boarding

  • Manage outside law firms to ensure compliance with billing guidelines, including adherence to negotiated rates and specified billing practices
  • Responsible for making sure all the matters in our eBilling platform are relevant and have budgets
  • Own end-to-end law firm onboarding including but not limited to engagement letters, vendor forms, and opening POs and providing payment details
  • Work with team leaders to identify and implement policies and practices to optimize the efficiency of external legal spend
  • Responsible for monthly review/audit of our legal invoices, including accruals and spend report preparation with finance
  • Provide first line support to law firms in submitting invoices through the eBilling system


About you

  • 3-5 years of experience in legal operations, corporate paralegal or relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment
  • Careful attention to detail and strong quality of work product
  • Able to make decisions and move projects forward, sometimes with limited information
  • Comfortable working within an environment where transparency is the norm
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong communication skills
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Uses good judgment to make sound decisions
