Lead Media Manager

El Segundo, CA

The Lead Media Manager will be instrumental in building, strategizing, and executing go-to-market plans across multiple AT&T Fiber initiatives. In addition to having extensive experience in full funnel media planning across all consumer facing tactics, the ideal candidate will thrive on testing, innovation, data and analytics. The ideal candidate possesses a strong bias for action and makes proactive strategic recommendations. They are innovative, collaborative, and have expertise across the consumer marketing space. They approach campaign management holistically while understanding the value and limitations of each channel. They are digitally savvy, data-driven, ahead of emerging trends, and customer-obsessed.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Partner with relevant teams and stakeholders to strategize and execute multi-channel campaigns across markets and buying stages, monitor performance, and optimize investments to generate growth
  • Consistently demonstrate critical thinking by analyzing data and synthesizing learning into insights, strategic direction, and action to drive innovation in media mix decisions and strong business results
  • Manage audience and data-based targeting strategies, tactics, and execution to grow acquisition and retain current customers
  • Collaborate with media partners to create innovative programs that deliver on key initiatives of the business 
  • Develop insightful, comprehensive campaign analyses, owning share out with internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively pursue industry and consumer trends to identify innovative opportunities to grow the Fiber business 


  • 5+ years of media agency planning and strategy experience
  • 5+ years of managing brand and performance campaigns
  • Strong acumen for writing, visual storytelling and bringing strategic concepts to life through content and communication tactics 
  • Familiarity with campaign tracking and attribution models (MMM, MTA)
  • A deep understanding of acquisition strategy and direct-to-consumer and/or subscription-based businesses
  • Experience working across stakeholders within a matrix organization
  • Experience in developing local campaigns, with emphasis on digital acquisition and/or demand generation
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or equivalent practical experience.

Our Lead Media Manager’s earn between $106,100 - $178,200. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
