Lead Content Strategist + Copywriter

San Francisco, CA

At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.

We brighten people’s day by rolling up in a Wienermobile. We get them to vaccine appointments and voting booths. We make it easy to get the heck out of Dodge by renting a car in just a few taps. If you’re looking to work on some cool stuff, you’re in the right spot.

We’re looking for a few specifics, too. Like a people-first mentality and a high EQ, balanced with killer writing chops. As a Lead Content Strategist, you’ll write and oversee content strategy work for Growth and Product Marketing. You will partner with marketing stakeholders to solve business problems for their channels and help teams find new ways to bring their strategies and stories to life.

You should be a seasoned creative with a strong background in copywriting and content strategy. You have a knack for explaining creative concepts to non-creative audiences, and for building memorable stories and copy that cut through the noise. You have a history of providing oversight to creative teams, and driving cross-functional projects. You communicate—and operate—with humor and empathy.

Join us! We’re working and playing at an incredible moment of joy and optimism. Vaccine access is widely available. People are going out again, albeit carefully. And Lyft has a major role to play in helping people get back out there safely.
