Our team is responsible for communications of internal and external strategies of commercial priorities. Our team provides communications support for global key account leaders and the Commercial Excellence organization.


Partner with the best

As a Lead Business Communications Specialist, you'll support the commercial team with communication and events management. You'll develop an overarching communications strategy and plan to communicate the Baker Hughes strategy internally and externally. You'll support the Executive Leadership team by running a digital thought leadership program aimed at promoting senior leaders as ambassadors of the Baker Hughes brand.

As a Lead Business Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Be able to support development of commercial enablement material on an ongoing basis and offer enhanced event support for targeted customer activities

- Supporting product company and region communications teams on business-specific commercial communications activities

- Maintaining the enterprise-level events/customer calendar on the Baker Hughes intranet and on the Baker Hughes external website

- Working with cross-product company stakeholders to build rigor around enterprise event evaluation, submission, and activation processes.

- Supporting development of events look-books and toolkits to facilitate event management and standardize event quality across the company

- Managing project commercial activation for enterprise-level events

- Seeking out social media engagement opportunities for Baker Hughes EVP Regions, Alliances & Enterprise Sales in-line with business objectives and contribute to our global storytelling efforts


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

- Bachelor's degree in communications or related discipline (marketing, PR, Business Administration etc.) from an accredited university or college

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, preferably in internal/employee or commercial Comms

- Have experience that includes written & verbal communications, events, and project management

- Have advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills

- Have experience in event management and stakeholder management
