Lead Business Analyst

Tiffany & Company is seeking a Lead Business Analyst who is an innovator motivated to derive new systems capabilities and contribute towards a solid technology solution for Supply Chain (Merchandising/Innovation) operations. The Lead Business Analyst role will provide, both implementation and post-implementation support for the Merchandising/Innovation initiatives that span many platforms (.NET/iSeries/3rd party solutions). The current implementation roadmap and rapid growth of product life cycle management solutions at Tiffany & Co. offers tremendous exposure to many facets of Tiffany’s Innovation & Merchandising operations. The Lead Business Analyst role is instrumental to creating positive user experiences within Merchandising & Innovation teams and its integrated network of applications.


Responsibilities

Partnering closely with the product and technical teams, develop detailed user stories, functional requirements and technical specification documentation and ensuring there is alignment between all teams on the solution.  Coordinate major incident and problem management, ensuring all steps during a production issue are being executed and addressed. Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.  Manage scope and user expectations by ensuring requirements can be met within existing project budgets and timeframes. Assisting Project Manager and Scrum Master in the development of detailed project plans and work assignments. Monitor progress to ensure project deliverables are met. Track progress to plan. Communicate status to project team members and management.  Assist in the ongoing review and maintenance of technical support documentation to reflect newly discovered issues or improvements in the relevant systems.  Continually improve personal knowledge and skills relevant to current enterprise application architecture and integrations.  Setup configuration to support system integrations and make updates to relevant systems and applications.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience in IT related to software development or support
  • 6 to 8 years’ experience in a Business or Systems Analyst role
  • Experience working with product development, demand management, product life cycle, and innovation solutions (should we add .NET & 3rd party applications)
  • Proven analyst skills spanning business functions and applications
  • Full lifecycle solution development, from requirements gathering through build, test, deploy, and support
  • Demonstrated experience documenting use cases and functional requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross functional departments in requirements sessions
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and liaison between business users and a technical development team
  • Sensitivity to the multi-cultural characteristics of a global IT organization
  • Exposure to integrating with other applications such as JDE E1, Sterling/Compass integration platforms and .NET custom applications
  • Experience in retail and eCommerce organizations
  • Experience with global & luxury brands
  • Experience with business analysis and business process modeling
  • Agile and SDLC experience
  • Previous experience working on large transformational initiatives / re-platforms
