Key Account Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Role Overview

Account Managers in the Key Accounts Department are our front line contact with our larger customers. Responsibilities include: achieving our short and long range initiatives, maximizing sales opportunities, and managing our marketing initiatives with each customer.

 

This role is based in and requires Los Angeles residency with a customer responsibility with Big 5 and WSS. This role includes Footwear and Apparel sales.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts through product assortment plans, special make ups, forecasting, sell through reports, strategic planning & inventory control
  • Understand Fila’s goals as it relates to corporate objectives & demonstrate a proficient knowledge of competitors, programs and market trends
  • Prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive sales presentations and cultivate a relationship within each account
  • Take a lead role coordinating all logistics within the Fila organization including customer service, Credit, distribution, credit and finance’
  • Position requires overnight travel on occasion
  • Communicates all market feedback and issues to Fila management


Qualifications

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • PC proficiency: Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint Presentations
  • Excellent time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills

 

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years industry sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years managing strategic accounts
  • Results oriented
