Junior Video Editor

Austin, TX

As a Junior Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in the post-production process, assisting in the creation of high-quality video content. You will work closely with our in-house video team to edit and refine video footage, ensuring it meets the desired standards and aligns with the creative vision of Huckberry.

This editor will specifically sit in our in-house video team supporting the production of Gear Lab and other related content. Huckberry recently passed 100k subscribers on Youtube and it’s an exciting time to be joining a fast-growing team. 


  • Video Editing: Assist in the editing of raw video footage to create engaging, visually appealing, and cohesive video content for various channels including Youtube, Instagram, and Tiktok
  • Media Management: Organize and manage video files, ensuring all assets are easily accessible and properly labeled
  • Graphics: Understanding of basic visual effects and graphics as needed to enhance the overall video quality and storytelling
  • Audio Editing: Edit and mix audio tracks, including music, sound effects, and voiceovers to achieve optimal sound quality and synchronization with video
  • Color Correction and Grading: Perform basic color correction and grading to ensure consistency and visual appeal throughout the video
  • Creative Input: Contribute creative ideas and suggestions for improving video content and storytelling


  • Experience in camera operation and shooting video is a plus, but please note this is primarily an editing position. 


  • Bachelor's degree in film production, video editing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in editing video for social channels, specifically longer form Youtube, but also Instagram Reels, Youtube Shorts, and Tiktok. 
  • Understanding of UGC Formats for Paid Ads
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to receive and implement detailed feedback. 
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • An interest in Men’s style and gear, and a love for adventure
  • Creative thinker who can iterate quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent, regularly scheduled deadlines
