WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike Global Women’s is looking for Junior Designers who are outstanding teammates, focused on execution, work under the direction of the creative lead and alongside producers and narrators to deliver well-crafted and innovative creative! They help the team execute design across several mediums including art direction, moving image, graphic and spatial design. Eager to learn and develop their skills, they are part of a team delivering holistic design solutions across all appropriate channels. They have a passion for creativity and are committed to staying up to date with current and future trends and technology!


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

- Work with the studio's Sr. Designer and Designer to develop various visual directions.

- Support the craft of the Nike Women’s Marketing Art Direction. Uphold excellence, ambition, and team spirit.

- Aid in best-in-class photography, video content, digital and experience design in service of the Studio's Marketing dimensions.

- Develop and maintain relationships with photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, designers, and their agents.

- Help craft art direction for performance video shoots, ensuring our content is always on-brand, diverse, contemporary, desirable and within agreed budgets.

- Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media and technology as relevant to Nike and the design team.

- Collaborate with styling, marketing, tech, retail, photography and editorial to meet brand vision and standards.

- Ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively exceptional, and delivered on-time.

- Review project work for highest standards of quality, consistency and success.


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will partner with the Art Director, Sr Designer, Designer, your category studio teammates, Global Nike Direct Marketing (Digital/Retail/Services) and Merchandising, Global Styling, the Global Brand Imaging Studio, The Content Production teams and Geo/City 365 Studios.


WHAT YOU BRING

- 2+ years graphic design and art direction experience in a branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment.

- A passion for the Athlete*, Sport* and Culture.

- Solid portfolio of creative work, exhibiting a skilled background in digital and editorial design.

- Great knowledge and expertise in all aspects of layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital production and publishing across editorial formats and platforms.

- Detailed understanding of today’s media landscape and how people engage with content, with in-depth knowledge of interactive communication, processes and user-interface design for digital products.

- Ability to collaborate with and creatively manage freelance design talent.

- Ability to lead team efforts while also working independently to deliver on individual responsibilities.

- A positive mentality with proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.

- Laser-sharp focus to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.

- Strong time management to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously.

- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at presenting and defending creative work.

- Strong interpersonal resourcefulness with the ability to cultivate cross-functional partnership and an open, positive and collaborative environment.

- Innate curiosity and in-depth understanding of design culture, current and past.

- Astute attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills in service of creative projects.
