IT Project Manager

General Purpose:

  • As a Project Manager in our PMO team, will be responsible for project requirements, owning the project plan/schedule/budget and deliverables. Accountable to ensure project deliverables are met, interact with IT/IS teams, cross-functional business team.


Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project/program requirements, scope, and change management issues
  • Work closely with business owners to understand objectives, so projects can be prioritized or scoped appropriately
  • Manage cross-functional projects and resources and build in-depth knowledge of how the various team operations
  • Identify and manage risks
  • Engage IT/IS managers to identify and allocate appropriate resources to project
  • Communicate with stakeholders regularly to manage expectations and to provide project updates on scope, budget, and schedules
  • Adhere to PMO processes and PM methodology to successfully deliver projects


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of delivering business value
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with ERP implementations (Oracle EBS or Fusion Cloud)
  • Experience with Agile SCRUM
  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
  • Ability to adapt, to be flexible, and to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • PMP or Agile SCRUM Certification preferred
