What you’ll be doing...

Program Manager to lead IT efforts to support enterprise initiatives focused on the post-pandemic and ongoing transformation of Verizon operations from an HR, Payroll, Real Estate and Employee Experience perspective. You will be interacting with senior leadership and partnering with HR, Payroll, Real Estate, GTS across multiple CIOs and external stakeholders to definesolutions and execute on the strategy.

  • Participate in cross-functional teamwork engaged with leaders from all levels of the business in an effort to assess business opportunities for technology and to design actionable solutions
  • Communication is key. Advanced skills in analysis and written and verbal communication are critical, as this role will require significant executive-level interaction.
  • Establish effective working relationships with other managers, subordinates, peers and other partners.
  • Work to develop their team into a critical technical and business advisory resource for the business while also managing the ongoing flow of projects assigned to the group.
  • Thrive in a dynamic and changing environment and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Ensure the portfolio adheres to all governance and compliance requirements.
  • Accountable for program roadmaps and deliveries in partnership with Product teams.


What we’re looking for...

You have a combination of strong business and technical skills and will have significant authority to define and deliver the work required to make our clients successful. You are highly adaptable, assertive and open to new challenges in a fast-paced fluid environment.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Global PM experience specializing in Human Capital Management (preferably Workday) or Workforce Management system implementation.
  • Experience implementing large scale projects in Fortune 50 companies.
  • Experience with HCM Cloud (Workday preferably), AWS, as well as integration knowledge with other systems such as Real Estate, Finance (SAP) and ServiceNow.
  • Experience with key software development methods with focus on requirements documentation, release planning, testing design, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience developing tools, including writing requirements, automating processes and managing the development process.


Even better if you have:

  • Excellent PMO project manager with Agile as a strong trait.
  • Ability to work across all functional teams in multiple geographies.
  • Ability to conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and develop plans to ensure business is prepared for upcoming technology changes.
  • Ability to identify potential people-side risks, points of resistance, performance gapsand develop specific corrective action plans to mitigate the risks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks, take initiative, resolve conflicts, be creative, coordinate and make decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $105,800 and $196,600 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
