IT Manager

Shepherdstown, WV

Aramark is currently seeking an IT Manager at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV. The IT Manager will oversee the technology platform within our operations to provide great guest experience and to help drive forward business success based on world class solutions & operations.


The person in this position will be responsible for supporting and maintaining point-of-sale (POS) and property management systems (PMS). The IT manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with the overall business and Tech goals and initiatives as well as being a representative to the IT team at our location.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with users to define and evaluate business needs, challenges, and inefficiencies that may be resolved through automated solutions.
  • Measure impact/success and drive quality assurance and continuous improvement of selected solutions.
  • Understand and be able to troubleshoot client IT infrastructure, including POS and PMS hardware, POS and PMS reporting systems, network/fiber connectivity, and routing.
  • Partners with Aramark Corporate IT and onsite management to identify contractual risks and minimize potential data privacy and security issues.
  • Manage vendor contracts to ensure service levels are met and business risk minimized; communicate any defects and coordinate testing and implementation of appropriate solutions.
  • Develop content and lead functional and technical training classes as necessary or required.
  • Maintain knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and computer networks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the client’s IT Department to navigate solutions for shared resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Aramark LOB Tech and leverage resources and tools appropriately to troubleshoot and remedy on-site issues.
  • Defines client technology project scope, plans, and deliverables, including cost, project plans, and proposed implementation dates based on Aramark and onsite technology team guidelines.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Field or 3-5 years equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience, including but not limited to in-depth expertise with large and complex hospitality and Point of Sales and Property Management systems, hardware and infrastructure, and long-term strategy and innovation development.
  • Strong analysis, organization, communications, interpersonal, and project management skills are essential.
