What role will you play as a member of the Colgate's Information Technology team?

 

As a people manager, the person will be responsible to develop a strong talent pipeline. Will be actively involved in effective management of resources, coaching / mentoring / guiding advance their career. Should be able to effectively lead resource workload and ensure effective allocation based on priorities and skills. This role will have a key responsibility to handle and deliver order to invoice requests, ensure performance & reliability of various systems and magnificent execution of the projects in cross -functions. This role also requires the incumbent to build, handle and develop strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization within IT and business.


What you will do

You as a people manager:

  • Plan for career growth opportunities for the team through the various organization initiatives of Performance Management and Development
  • Provide team with mentor, development and career conversations
  • Conduct performance appraisals and reviews
  • Lead organizational task forces, action learning projects
  • Maintain Code of conduct, Ethics practices in the team and drive Colgate values and partnership


You as a Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager:

  • Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve sophisticated business critical issues.
  • Build models of data that enable the collection of data and KPI generation for our sustainability initiatives


You as a Delivery Manager

  • Lead and deliver medium / large information technology projects for our manufacturing and sustainability organizations.
  • Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles
  • Maintain Production Systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and governance processes
  • Manage / guide members to implement functional projects / initiatives bringing to bear project management standards
  • Ensure business continuity during times of disruption


You as a collaborator:

  • Partner with internal Information technology organizations such as Global Development, Risk Management and other cross-functional business units as necessary
  • Conduct periodic interactions with business stakeholders to review solutions, provide updates and insights, identify gaps and actions.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related subject
  • At least 8 years A consistent record of performance with in IT.
  • At least 3 years People management experience
  • At least 5 years Of end to end implementations of functional projects (project manager / technical lead / functional lead)
  • At least 5 years of SAP experience on SAP's Manufacturing or Sales and Distribution modules
  • Deep understanding of end to end business process knowledge and enterprise solutions.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically to identify and communicate root cause

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • ABAP knowledge
  • Academic certifications in relevant subjects, project management and systems.
  • Implementation of data collection and critical metric reporting tools

 

Salary Range $120,720 - $158,445 USD


Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
